Chamber

The Foremost & District Chamber of Commerce meets the second Wednesday of the month from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm. The Foremost and District Chamber of Commerce is made of representatives for local businesses, service organizations, clubs and others. The Chamber encourages businesses to become members, with annual fees helping to fund activities such as the chili cook-off, the Passport to Christmas and other events happening throughout the year.

The Chamber President is Lorne Buis.

Foremost Annual Family and Community Volunteer Appreciation Supper will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Foremost Community Hall. Supper 6:30 pm – Entertainment by the Morris Brothers. Pick up your tickets at the FCSS Office or the Village Office or call 403-867-2766 to reserve your tickets. Cash or Food donations greatly appreciated!

Foremost and District Chamber of Commerce AGM will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Foremost Community Hall. Call 403-867-3077 to reserve your ticket. There will be a presentation from Elvira Smid, Director of the Medicine Hat Region in the Alberta Ministry of Finance and Enterprise, regarding the Canadian Centre for Unmanned Vehicle Systems (CCUVS) and the potential development of an unmanned vehicle testing program with the Village of Foremost at the Foremost Airport.
