Access to Information Act (ATIA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA)
The Village of Foremost is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and ensuring transparency in how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed. Personal information is managed in accordance with applicable privacy and access to information legislation.
Our Privacy Commitment
The Village of Foremost collects personal information only when it is necessary to provide municipal programs and services. This information is handled responsibly and safeguarded to protect individual privacy.
Personal information may be collected for purposes such as utility services, taxation,permits, programs, and other municipal operations.
Access to Information Requests
The Access to Information Act and Protection of Privacy Act provide access to records held by the Village of Foremost, including access to an individual's personal information or general information.
Access to information requests must be submitted in writing. Before making a formal Request to Access Information Form to the Village of Foremost, it is recommended that you contact the office for more information and to inquire about how to accurately and efficiently submit your request.
How do I make a request?
If you have spoken with a Village representative and would like to make a formal request, please access the forms below.

- If you prefer to make your request in person, you can visit the Village of Foremost office anytime.
Is there a fee?
Under the Access to Information Act, the Village of Foremost may charge fees to process access requests.
There maybe additional charges associated with more extensive and complex requests as permitted under the ATIA regulation. For additional inquiries, please contact the Privacy Officer at office@foremostvillage.ca
