SOUTH FORTY WASTE SERVICES - LANDFILL

Hours of Operation(Foremost Site):

Wednesday–1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday –8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Saturday– 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

CLEARING SNOW FROM DRIVEWAYS AND SIDEWALKS

Pushing and Clearing snow from private driveways and sidewalks and depositing it onto Village of Foremost streets and roads is not permitted.

It is against the law:

Section43 of the Public Highways Development Act provides that:

Any person who, without justification or excuse, obstructs or deposits any material on a highway or road is guilty of an offence.

Any person convicted of an offense may also be ordered to forthwith remove any obstructions or materials deposited on the highway or road.

 

TRAILERS/RECREATIONAL VEHICLES PARKING ON PUBLIC STREETS

Just a reminder that, since summer is now behind us and snow removal is around the corner, Holiday/Utility Trailers and Recreation Items/Boats will now need to be removed from Village streets and empty lots for the winter months.  Please have all of these items removed as soon as possible and thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

 

COMPOST PILE

Thankyou to everyone who takes their discarded greenery and grass clippings to thecompost pile. However, trees, tree branches and garbage have been put on thepile regularly. Please use this service responsibly so that we can continue tohave this available for everyone.
